Dental Implants

A dental implant has been around for many decades and has improved many times through the years. This is the number one tooth replacement option for most people.

At our dental office, we are committed to educating you about the benefits of dental implants, as well as other restorative dentistry. After all, our goal is to help you make the right decision for optimal oral health.

Are Dental Implants Right for You?

When a tooth is missing or has been removed, the space left behind affects the bone, gums, and teeth that remain. Implants help preserve the bone and gums all while stabilizing the surrounding teeth. Implants are a commitment and typically take a few appointments over 3-6 months. The implant itself is the part that is placed in your bone, sometimes referred to as the “root.” The bone grows around the implant to stabilize it for the crown or “tooth” to be made. Implants can be placed for a single tooth replacement option. Two implants can be placed in a larger space that had 3 or more teeth removed.

Implants and Supportive Services

Implants can also be placed to help with a good denture to become more secure. Learn more about our Dentures and Partial Denture services.
