Dentures & Partials
Removable Partial Denture (RPD)
Partial dentures are an affordable option to “replace” multiple missing teeth. These provide stability to prevent other teeth from shifting and causing damage or bone loss. Partial dentures can help restore function to help chew and they can fill in the spaces to give you a full smile again.
There are times when in order to restore oral and systemic health, the best option is to remove the remaining teeth and fabricate a complete denture (or plate). Dr. Annis will evaluate your condition and provide you with options that are right for you.
Much like everything in life, dentures have a lifespan. If your denture doesn’t fit anymore or is damaged, you may want to ask yourself if it’s time for a new one. As you may remember, getting custom fit dentures is not a quick appointment. It is a journey that Dr. Annis will assist with to make your time at the office as little as possible while making great fitting dentures.
Implant Supported Denture
Most people know that the lower denture is the most difficult to keep in place. The tongue and cheek muscles move a lot through the day and can cause the lower denture to become dislodged. If enough bone exists two implants can stabilize the denture. You would simply snap the denture into place and snap it out as needed. Dr. Annis can discuss the process with you whether you are in need of a denture or already have a good fitting denture.
